Raising our gifted children with Sara Troy and her guest Marie Delanote, on air from May 4th
Meditation and awareness training allows us to find the place in our hearts and minds where we feel happy and trusting so that we can feel good again, in any situation, wherever we are, and as quickly as possible. Knowing how to regulate your emotions is a life skill and should be taught to all children. This knowledge will empower our children, the next generations, and humanity and can help reduce the number of people dealing with depression and anxiety dramatically! My children’s meditations are visualisation exercises that enhance creative thinking, mental strength, positive thinking… the base of a happy life. It is based on the principle: when you watch the TV, your emotions react depending on what you see…. What if you use your mind as a TV to influence your emotions. So we start to visualise positively to uplift our emotions. The mind doesn’t know the difference between real or imagined anyway but your emotions react to it. And when you feel good, you vibrate higher energy which in its turn (like attracts like), attracts good to you.
When a child learns how to regulate their emotions, we empower our children. The exercises in this book teach children how to have power and control over how they feel, what’s happening, and where they want to be in life! Exercises may be performed in as little as one minute or as long as 5-10 minutes, making it easy to incorporate them into daily life or a longer learning session. They rely on fun visualisation techniques that enhance creative thinking, mental strength, positive thinking, and self-esteem, in order to harness the mind – the basis of a fabulous, happy, and successful life.
Marie’s first book, ‘The Healing of the 1lb Baby’ self-published in 2014, tells her personal emotional and spiritual journey when her fourth child was born extremely premature at 24 weeks pregnancy, weighing 1lb. Her second book was a mindfulness book for children, ‘Acorns to Great Oaks – Meditations for Children’, published by Findhorn Press.
Since 2002, Marie has been a practising Reiki Usui Grandmaster, honouring the spiritual lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata and Furumoto. In 2006 she received private lessons in psychic surgery and aura-and chakra reading by Reiki Grandmaster and Shaman Ann Leysen, in Belgium. To deepen her knowledge, in 2012, Marie also followed courses on crystal – and chakra therapy with Valerie Truyts. Ever since, Marie has channeled messages and new ways of healing for her clients. Marie has been giving distance ‘one-on-one’ chakra and aura reading and healing sessions since 2013.
Marie continues to also write for film. Her short film, drama, ‘The Boy and the Ladybird’ is in development with award-winning director Ben S. Hyland and BAFTA crew member producer Adam Smith from ‘Hidden Art Films’. Her first feature film directing debut, to bring awareness about mental health and suicide ‘The Rainbow Is Black’, is in funding stage.
People can contact me if they’re interested in a healing session (all sessions are distance healing but everything that comes up is typed out and sent in an email) I use my visualization skills to look past the boundaries of the physical.
