Positive Living Vibrations with Sara Troy and her guest Suzanne Mathis McQueen. Originally Aired from MAY 22nd on.
HORMONES, PERIODS, MENSTRUAL CYCLE, all of which we have no understanding of why we go through such different moods in one month. We are going to understand today why our menstrual cycle is indeed a gift, we are going to see in how getting into the rhythm of our cycle it gives us knowledge of how we feel each week of the month and how to live in the rhythm of our own lives. This is a fascinating interview, and you not only should give this book to every woman but every man girl and boy, so that a woman’s cycle is not demeaned or misunderstood but embraced and honoured.
Suzanne Mathis McQueen, who is the author of 4 Seasons in 4 Weeks, and coaches women on how to track the energies of their own hormonal rhythm using symbolism, archetypes, and an easy-to-follow system. After reading her book or attending a talk, women worldwide are making revolutionary breakthroughs in how they think about their reproductive bodies, sexuality, personal experiences, problem-solving, and what they deserve.
Suzanne’s background is in the healing industry and she’s the former creator and owner of a million-dollar, award-winning day spa and retreat centre. After selling her business in 2003 and a short break, a new direction emerged and Suzanne embarked on a spiritual journey that would become her life’s work. Her passion is directed toward encouraging “already empowered” women and girls to make real change for themselves (and therefore the world) by synchronizing with the sequence of their own monthly cycle—something Suzanne personally discovered to be a hidden treasure map and remarkable navigational system within herself and all women, even beyond menopause. When a woman understands the primal wisdom of her fluctuating hormones, her daily experiences begin to make sense. Instead of needing to tolerate the inconvenience and frustration of her cycle, she begins to fall in love with her womb’s power. Suzanne considers this to be the missing link in women’s empowerment and without this knowledge, the female gender as a whole will continue to struggle for true equality and sovereignty.
